GODFALL: THE FIVE

GODFALL: THE FIVE
"TO NEVER LIVE OR TO DIE FOREVER"

 THE RED KING

The Red King is the embodiment of war and vengeance, the god of wrath, and in a land of unconquered peoples is the most powerful agent of change in the world of Fulcrum. He is the leader of the Five and rules all he can with a iron fist of flame. Since invading Fulcrum, he has taken to the role of the rightful king quite seriously, and has set himself upon a throne of fire in the Mountains of Nor.

From there, he leads vast armies to conquer all that the sky touches, and even something things beneath the rock and the sea, with an army of its own peoples. While other members of the Five wage war with nothing but monstrosities and abominations, The Red King prefers to enlist and "evolve" the Orgs, the Rorrani warriors, the Alustran defectors, and even the Minotaurs of Nor into his Red Legion.

The Red King values earned loyalty, practiced discipline, and ambitious ferocity, but he only loves two things; the drumbeats of war and the love of his Queen.

FULCRUM: GODFALL STORYLINE

FULCRUM: A PEOPLE UNCONQUERED

Fulcrum is a land unconquered; or more correctly, a lot of lands unconquered, or even more exactly, a lot of peoples unconquered. The people of this land of pride, spirit, and will that is so unusually resilient and indomitable that there are few, if no, instances of total surrender from any peoples in the plane's history. From the Alustran society of strict egalitarian chivalry to the unbreakable village communities of Nymble animal-folk in Pacea to the rebellious, rambunctious rogues of the Free-Mercant Nations to the Org barbarians of the Fire-Jungle of Nor to the dying race of Rorrani warriors that roam the Org lands of Guluk-Naar to the warring liches and vampire of Lacrozia to undying wilderness of the Wurmwood to cackling covens of the Witch Marshes to the ancient culture of the Hexellian Empire and even with the strange recluses of the Ring Isle, no culture or people have given way to an opposing force; in fact, most wars end with a settlement between the two forces that has the victor showing respect and admiration for the defeated foe. The strange thing  is that, in a world of heroes and villains, they don't worship their gods; they despise them.

THE PEOPLES OF FULCRUM

Humans...They make up the majority, run Alustra, Pacea, The Ring Isle, and have a big stake in the Free-Nation States. Nuff Said.

Hexellian (Merfolk)
Native to Fulcrum. They are amphibious beings that live in all depths of the oceans, between Fulcrum’s main continent of Allustria and the shallow waters in the Great Ring Isle, and are the dominant race in the Nation of Hexellia (which encompasses the territory they control in the middle-depths of the ocean). Though humanoid, they have the features of all manner of sea creature that serve to help them swim and distinguish their position in their complex caste system. They can live outside of water, but are far more comfortable in a salt-water environment. When out of the water, their bodies secret a layer of mucus that allows them to breathe, but also make them more open to illnesses and the elements. They make quite powerful mages that specialize in illusions, aura magic, and other protective magic that they use to manipulate the seas vastness against their foes. They live in near isolation and mostly come into conflict against sailors and other sentient beings that call the oceans their home.
