OWEN'S DRAFT DECK #1 RW AGGRESSIVE CONTROL DECK

PLANESWALKERS OF MIDGARD PRESENTS
OWEN'S DRAFT DECK #1 RW AGGRESSIVE CONTROL

Our first draft of Fulcrum: Godfall saw two dominant decks; black blue artifacts with Kyle and white red artifacts with Owen, who went 5-1. His deck relied on flyers, control, and creature advantage to win out over his opponents.

And this deck shows that black wouldn't be the dominant color in the set with Owen making a competitive red/white deck that can handle most of the threats through red aggression and white control-- a classic combo.
CONTAINS 40

CREATURES
(16 Creatures: 10 White Creatures (2 White Artifact Creatures) and 6 Red Creatures (2 Red Artifact Creatures))

Deck contains. 2.
Reasons? A really potent go-getter for white flyers, this Griffin is all about snagging you those extra flyers (and fast) to pick your opponent's life apart. These flyers really gave Owen quite the advantage in the draft.

Deck contains. 1.
Reasons? This useful card helps block an opponent from nailing your life points and it helps fill the niche of a handy tough defender.

Deck contains. 1.
Reasons? And here we have another useful piece of defense-- white, red is a doable combo in this set but white specializes in phalanx and red legion; means mixed results.

Deck contains. 1.
Reasons? And this cheap beasty is pretty damn effective, as well. Four of these make a great bottom line for the deck with the only drawback being the vulnerability.

Deck contains. 1.
Reasons? Hellhog is probably more than a bit overpowered; for 2 you get a 1/1 haste and firebreath beasty. He is great for swinging in for some serious damage.

Deck contains. 2.
Reasons? And here we have a slightly overpower and definitely popular brutal babe with Knight of the White Queen that was a popular pick amongst my players; including Owen. A possible errata would be changing to the toughness to 1.

Deck contains. 1.
Reasons? With a plenty aggressive deck (thank you flyers), it is easy to imagine this bloodpriest buffing up creatures like its noone's business.

Deck contains. 1.
Reasons? This buff turn four drop is a great combo with minotaur bloodpriest and, with legion, really helps lead the Legionarres, speaking of which...

Deck contains. 3.
Reasons? And this is the backbone of this deck, get three of these biatches on the ground and you've got three 3/3 whenever they swing. Nasty. Combo with the Dreadknight for even more lethality and the creature aggro of this deck is brilliant.

Deck contains. 2.
Reasons? Talk about potent control! Spirit Warden is a 3/3 flyer for five that completely locks down one monster and then works a lethal threat/defender.

 Deck contains. 1.
Reasons? A tricky card, but definitely helps round out this deck with another flyer to help control the battlefield. The drawback is a little obnoxious but not bad enough to make it unplayable in limited.

NON-CREATURE SPELLS
(8 Non-Creature Spells:2 Artifact, 2 Red Enchantments, 1 Red Instant, 1 Red/White Instant, 2 White Sorceries)

Deck contains. 1.
Reasons? An extremely potent offensive spell, but otherwise useless. It really does work best when your opponent has a bunch of enemies and you have a bunch of creatures swinging.

Deck contains. 2.
Reasons? A creature removal engine that relies on your own creatures. It does a good job and helps make up for a lack of red removal in the deck.

Deck contains. 1.
Reasons? Reusable burn for the win.

Deck contains. 1.
Reasons? And this card is only really good for getting Burn the Wall, but that works.

Deck contains. 2.
Reasons? And this needs to be fixed like nobodies business. Maybe it could just be used to untap creatures for some kind of white semi-vigilance support.

Deck contains. 1.
Reasons? And this definitely comes in handy to boost all the flyers.

LANDS
(16 Lands: 7 Mountains, 9 Plains)

CONTAINS: 7

CONTAINS: 9

And that's it, hope you like it, title pending...and if you wanna do some testing, give me a hoot and a holler.
